For a traditional Christmas meal with a Spanish twist, we suggest heading over to the Mira Moon in Causeway Bay.  Tucked away inside lies one of Hong Kong’s shiniest gems: Supergiant Tapas & Cocktail bar, a Dutch-designed sanctuary for tapas enthusiasts and mythology-inspired cocktails.

Executive Chef Guillermo Delavault, the Argentine mastermind long-seasoned in Michelin star restaurants across the world, has curated a stunning Christmas lunch and dinner buffet menu alongside his famed Spanish spreads.  Inspired by traditional Christmas dishes around the world, the ‘Moon-ificent Christmas Lunch and Dinner Buffet’ will offer hungry guests a spectrum of seafood, European cheeses and Boston lobster bisque alongside succulent Spanish slow cooked pork belly and traditional Christmas Turkey.  A must-have, though, is the Family Seafood Paella, and it wouldn’t be Christmas without gingerbread men and chocolate log, so be sure to save space for dessert.

The buffet comes with an open bar package for three hours of free-flow drinks, whether you’re sipping on prosecco or carefully selected wines.  Be sure to take a check out the champagne tree maze at the Mira Moon’s Crystal Lounge and the open-air Secret Garden after your meal.

You might have noticed Bungalow lit like a star on the slope of Wyndham Street, teasing passers-by with its commodious interior.  Just in time for the festive season, it’s opening its sleek doors for some of the tastiest cuisine on the street.  The menu, curated by Michelin-star chef Steve Chou, spans a wide range of gorgeously presented French food, designed on platters to share.  You have to try the Barley Salad, which melts together with the help of a tender egg yolk balanced on top.  The wine list is impeccable, and the cocktail list contains some of the tastiest concoctions we’ve tried this year.
