Spotify has just adopted their listener data in a creative and fun way, by celebrating the weird data that reflects the activity from Spotify users from all over the world #Thanks2016.It’s been weird. Their new ad campaign shows that there’s more ways to use users’ data than you can possibly think of, and blowing it up into a huge billboard across the city is definitely one of the most creative ways to promote the functions of the app.
The ads have been rolling out in the U.S., U.K., France and Germany at the moment, and we can’t wait until it comes to Hong Kong, to dissect the listening patterns of the users around us, it might just be one of you that’s being highlighted as well!
Some of the great headlines are:
- “Dear person who played ‘Sorry’ 42 times on Valentine’s Day, what did you do?”
- “Dear person in the Theatre District who listened to the Hamilton Soundtrack 5,376 times this year, can you get us tickets?”
