2018 has only gone through a month, but Troye Sivan has already dropped two singles for his fans. Earlier in January, Troye made his Saturday Night Live debut, where he performed the new singles ‘My, My, My!’ and ‘The Good Side.’ Whether you love dance-pop and folk song or not, Troye will sway your heart as always.
The tracks are anticipated to appear on Troye’s forthcoming second album, yet its title is still unknown. That’ll be a follow-up to his debut album “Blue Neighbourhood” released in 2015. The emerging Australian singer revealed that the latest single ‘The Good Side’ chronicles a ‘rough’ breakup and that it served as an apology to his former flame. The heartbreaking yet healing single will be the latest song that stir you with emotions.
Troye is also set to release a new single titled ‘Strawberries & Cigarettes’ for the soundtrack of a highly-anticipated LGBT coming-of-age film “Love, Simon”, which is expected to be on theater in mid-March. While waiting for Troye’s new release, perhaps you can enjoy ‘Alfie’s Song (Not So Typical Love Song)’ by Bleachers, the lead single song in “Love, Simon” soundtrack.
Now, at least we’ve got his debut performances and the two singles on hand. More exciting news, yes? Besides his music career, Troye has also been an active and successful actor. He is to star in “Boy Erased” with Flea, Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe.
