Sometimes all you need is the simplest, people and things without any disguise. That’s the principle of the local indie band Black Coffee. The aspiring band announces first tour “Hazy Days” in Hong Kong on 30 April. The new release shares feelings and thoughts that many Hong Kong people may find related to — the dreading Monday, how we get lost in thoughts and how the present envelopes us.

At a tiny warehouse, Black Coffee has established and been developing their band and music. Using the simplest gear and tattered music, the indie band strikes with Garage Rock music with their dissipated sound. Delivering British scents, the music of Black Coffee smells of Brit Pop , Shoegaze, Lo-Fi and Punk. The combination of the music styles presents a unique place and style of the local band, the Brit Rock music they produced vividly stands out from any other indie band in town.
